If any of you have done descent doorless mod research you would know this, I just didnt want door fitment to become a problem so I didnt wheel it with the doors off. Id like to get some frame stiffeners in there, then i might be more apt to wheel it doorless.
Nice thead fellas. Definately a worthwhile mod, did mine 8 yrs back, 89' 4d, sold the rig but kept the doors. Have since modded my daughters 93' 4d, fun factor, 8+, visability improement, 10. My first set was just straight tube, did'nt yet have a bender, very back woods, welded to fit. The second set, much nicer, 1.5 x .125, Pro Tools 150 bender, fully adjustable. That little hinge insert is a pain on the '93, was'nt there on the '89
I haven't had my doors off in over a year. My wife didn't want them to come off with a 1mth old in the back seat.
If your doors are the only thing keeping your one-month-old in the jeep, you're doing it wrong.
