Door Limiters

The door limiters in my 87s are history. The dealership does not list them because they are so old. Will a later model one swap in? Thanks for any help.

LBJ: I got mine for my 88 at Pick a Part from 86 model which fit perfectly. So I would think they are pretty much the same. Just make sure they are working on the donor vehicle before removing them. HTH Don

I just had to replace the Drivers side. I went in with an old part # which ended up being superceded with a new one. 18.00 for the new one. I don't think that there would be a big difference between the 2, but I'll look for ya.

I doubt I still have the reciept, but I'll look around

They certainly are the same for the models through 96, and I doubt they changed in 97. Try back at your lazy and unimaginative stealership for a 96.

Thanks for the help guys. Haven't been lucky enough to find any at the local u-pull it. I'll try to get the dealership guy to give it another try.
