Hey guys!

Another member PM'd me asking for details as to how much money our chapter and our chapter members have donated to charities (either offroad related, or otherwise*), as well as how much time we have contributed to "the cause*" (clean-ups, phone banks, emails, etc). Obviously, we would like to make sure we get credit for all we deserve, so I'm posting here to see if any of you want your contributions counted.

If so, please post here, or PM me with the following details. (You must have been an official NAXJA member at the time of the contribution.)
-The year in which the contribution was made.
-Total monetary amount contributed (if you have to guess, err on the low side)
-Total amount of hours you contributed (in whatever way)
-If you want to tell me to whom you contributed, that's fine, but not necessary.

Thanks a bunch guys!
Billy

* Things like the Boys & Girls Club or Habitat for Humanity count, but please don't count things that are very specific to a cause that is not offroad/4 wheel/nature/wilderness related. For example, I have done some volunteer work to attempt to preserve our 2nd amendment rights, but that should not be counted.

I will be participating this coming year as well. Receive a free pass on to the beach, food and t-shirt after. You guys should join too!

Awesome! Anybody else? 10 members that spend an hour per year making calls and sending emails to legislators is no small task! I know I spend at least an hour per year... anybody else?

Also, the wife and I usually do "Coats for Kids" and take things to Good Will every year (totaling at least $300). Every little bit counts! Don't be shy!

Thanks again,
Billy

Well, I've been donating my time and money for years with help on the Rubicon Trail(FOTR) and Fordyce(FOF) along with sending letters out for many causes. My main concern though has been to keep public lands open to the public.
Last year I never even took my Jeep to the Rubicon but I did manage to get myself up there for one weekend and spent 8 hours working on the trail with FOTR.

My family donates to Good Will at least twice a year. We donate to my kid's school's god knows how much!! I donate to the Policemans Association, NRA, and have been to "Catina for the Con" the last 2 years. Hope this helps
