Anybody gotten their dome light in a 97+ XJ without the overhead console to stop vibrating from bass?

Minor annoyance. I'd thought it was the door at first.

and don't say because you hacked the top, because I said 97+ and you have a 90.

Year does not matter for the domelight. The answer is.......

I removed the top.

Silicone sealant. A little bead on the inside catch did the trick for me. I have a 97 and no console, just a simple white and grey casing attached to the headliner.

When I had a light in mine, I turned down the volume and the vibrating went away. Another side effect was that I could now hear emergency vehicles approaching.

Oh yeah, try rock music, as there are also other sounds to go along with the bass which will cure your dome light vibration malady (to your ears, anyway).

Actually, the minor annoyance is that it's happening when the radio isn't very loud.

Thank you for the silicone recomendation, however.
