Does a c-clip D35 measure the same at the neckdown than a non c-clip D35?

Did a search.

I'd like confirmation on this if anyone has ever seen both types of shafts. The non c-clip D35 shaft I have doesn't neck down much but the c-clipped 8.25 shafts sure do. I need to know if the c-clipped 35 necks down any more than the non c-clip version.

Kind of an odd question I know...

Before I answer the wrong question -- you are asking about the actual axle shaft, correct? Not the axle tubes?

Thats correct - the axle shafts themselves, where it necks down right after the splines.
