DirtBound Offroad Problem!

So heres the story I purchased one of their trans coolers with a fan (130$) oh about a month ago and when i got it i was surprised that the quality was pretty good for the price. I went to install it thinking it mounted to the radiator because it came with the hardware to do it, well i called them and it turns out its a cooler that's suppose to mount elsewhere on the jeep. So i told them it wasn't what i was looking for and if i could return it they said sure no problem send it back and we will send you a refund check. I sent the cooler back and it only took a day for them to get it i know because i had a tracking number.

My problem with them is I was expecting my refund check sometime within a week well it never came. I called and the secretary or whoever answer there phones told me she was sorry and would send one out that day. well another week went by still nothing so i called again she gave me the same run around story. Then ANOTHER week i'm at 3 weeks now since they received the return i called today and she said the owner Max i believe is hardly ever in the shop which i find hard to believe. I tried calling him directly but get no answer and no answer to my voice mails.
What i'm trying to do is find out if anyone else on here has had issues with DirtBound. I know they sponser this site so im hoping someone from DirtBound will chime i'm and tell me whats going on.

I was planning on buying more of your products in the future, call me don't loose a paying costumer!
 
The company, its products and Max are fairly highly regarded around here. Good for you for trying to communicate with a "no harm, no foul" tone. I'd expect an explanation about why you aren't getting a check or a simple "sorry for the delay" and a prompt check delivery.

The more you listen, the more you hear of problems..
 
I might have to make a drive up there too as I have not been able to get a reply from them about my bumper I bought. The hardware is incomplete, unless they sell their winch bumpers without all the bolts needed to attach it to the XJ. And also the 1/4 panel guards I bought didn't come with the advertised "installation tool". I ended up having to buy one of my own but over all I'm not too happy right now.
