Dielectric grease on sensors?

Well to make a long story short. I had what I thought was a bad sensor. I tested the sensor and found it to be ok but my connection was corrodide(sp) so I cleaned it and it fix the problem.

My question is in order to avoid this from happening again is there any reason that I can't use dielectric grease on all of my connections for my sensors? If it matters I have a 01 XJ

Use the dielectric grease. They have it in a squirt can at Home Depot in the electrical department. It's CRC brand and you'll find it amoungst the various aerosol electrical cleaners they have.
