Yeah, I know we have sponsors, and very good ones at that. I want to share a good experience and recommend a business that places a high value on customer service.

Being the cheap bastige that I am, I wanted to find some anti-friction pads and locator pins for my spring packs; I'm a cash-and-carry kind of guy. No problem with these people: They brought out parts for me to play with/test fit, gave me a price break on pads they had to substitute, and had me out the door in less time than than it took to drive there. They also bend U-bolts while you wait, gave me a work sheet just in case...

Once again, I'm not disparaging our sponsors, but: If you live in the Denver-metro, want it today, don't want to break out the credit card, here is another resource.

Have Fun, Mike

I need a total of 8 ubolts for my trailer. How much did they cost you?

Nothing yet...
We swag'd an estimated 16" linear for the XJ: They told me $7 to $10 range each for the 1/2" diameter, $10 to $12 each for the 9/16". Price included the hardened washers and nuts.

What I learned in that short time is that they take straight, pre-threaded rod and form it on a die. The price runs by the diameter and linear amount, the prices break by 2 inch increments (eg: 16", 18", 20"...). Use the worksheet to determine your linear and they should be able to give a real $$$ number on the phone. Hmmm, looking at the square and semi-round styles, it appears they add a bend allowance.

Good luck!

WOW! Hard to believe it has been ten years!

Denver Spring and Suspension has moved to 5171 Cook Street, 80216. They are just around the corner from Hooligan/Crawlertech, and up the block from Midwest Truck Parts.

This business has made a lot of changes, but good prices on good (Made in USA) products, and great customer service are still the norm!

I have used Denver Spring and Suspension quite a bit for our tow truck needs, and they have always been awesome.

+1 from me!
