Deleted threads?

What happened to just locking them?

I'm not a moderator, but it depends on the issue and reason for action. If there is excessive offensive content (insulting members, etc), then likely the thread will be deleted. The same with things like threads discussing removal of required equipment (taking off cats, etc.)

If a thread has simply runs its course, then it is more likely to be simply locked.
