Daughter smoked here engine last night

Yes she drove it home smokin and knockin radiator split open on here at night on the freeway. By the time she got home there wasn't any fluid in it. She parked it and 15 mins later I had to move it started it and it sounded ok I parked it till this morning started it again sounded ok. So I pull radiator cap and it was covered in brown thick goo. I attempted to fill radiator water leaked out just as fast so now I have no way to flush the motor. The motor previously had a fair amount of piston slap when cold but the motor ran great. However it does have the warm restart symptoms during winter with CA winter blend gas. Now I don't think its worth putting the time and money back into it. I'm thinking the engine is going to show more problems now and its probably toast.

what year is the rig? Im might have a motor for ya.

Its a 2001, I'm going to take a chance and flush out the system and replace radiator. Cold it has good oil pressure and dosent knock.

Good luck. My 01 went hot once. Determined it was the 0331 head crack debacle. Filled it and kept driving carefully for about a month until it finally went Tango-Uniform.
Head crack,yup.
Block cracked too...yup.
