Dana/Spicer dana 30 ball joints

RockAuto.com on line is a great place to get them, NAPA is the only one in the bay area that I have ever found any "In Stock."

I get all my Spicer stuff at bayshore truck here in Ree-Noo. I know they have a shop in San Jose & Sac.

I have a set in the shed...lemme know if you want them.

Edit. One side, one upper, one lower only. both are new, and were carried forever as trail spares.

I went to bayshore to have them press on the bearings for my dana 44 shafts. They would not work on anything that "small".

Wow, They would not? I have never had any problems with them at all. I haved used the San Jose & Ree-Noo shops.

Josh,

Check out this thread... The link within the thread is still valid, where you get all 4 Spicer ball joints for $90....pretty decent deal. I picked up a set, and they were genuine Spicer...

Thanks Ivan. 4Wheelparts has them for the same price and can have them for me tomorrow! I will keep that site in mind for the future.

I have some on the way. If you want to get rid of them I'll take them for trail spares, $20?

If you need to use my ball joint press again let me know. I need to do mine soon, 250k on them. Just got these http://www.synergysuspension.com/Sy...Heavy-Duty-Front-Ball-Joint-Sets-p-26182.html
Don

Thanks Don. I'll see if I break another rental one. They should be a little easier since I just did them 2,500 miles ago. Stupid cheap made in tiawan junk.

Let me know if you would like help when you do yours.

You might consider PartsMike. He's in Auburn but ships same day usually and you'll get it quick, even with standard shipping. His customer service is great too.

By the way, I have the adjuster sleeve tool if you wanna borrow it.

Billy

Thanks Billy, i just looked at his site last night and didn't realize he is local! I will have to give hime some business in the future.

Yeah, it might not have been the spicer ball joints that I got from NAPA.

I just looked at the boxes from my ball joints in there now. They are Napa Master Ride made in Taiwan and they lasted under 3K, well at least the upper driver side one is dead. The others look just fine. I think this might be what the big POP was while running Bronco Canyon in Reno.

The shaft is fine and the aussie works fine just need to check out any possible damage in the diff.

Funny thing is I got the cheap Napa ones and they are the same cost as the Spicers. Napa premiums are double the Spicers...

I would be willing to set up a group buy for some Spicers ball joints / U joints for you guys. Let me know what you all think..

i need uppers and lowers both sides.

I will make the call for you tomorrow & we will see what I can set up.
