I'm still scratching my head and trying to figure out wtf a hub girdle is! I've seen some perty ones in victoria secret but I dont think they would not help you! :wierd:
 
Basically, the theory was that the hubs were breaking because the outer housing was flexing & allowing the internal hub to expand & shatter. The idea was to press a secondary tube over the top of the hub housing to support it & not allow the flex. With CRASHes heavier chevy hubs / rotors still breaking it pretty much debunks this theory. Although it might help when going to drive flanges & will also keep the hub housing from distorting when a hub / drive flange does let loose. This could also move the breaking point to the stub shaft rather than the hub... pick your poison.
