So my Oakley shades started to peel (the frame that is), and Oakley said that they would repair (as in replace) the frame for $26.... Thinking that it's not a bad price, I make my way to the local USPS office and pay them $7 for shipping the shades registered mail with a return receipt.... Anyways, the damn SOB's have sent it out... but that's about all that everyone knows. They tell me that I have to wait 1 month from the ship date to trace something... GRRRR
I know I should have sent UPS or Fedex, but USPS is so much more convenient for me, and they have not lost anything for me yet... but I guess that recently the "neither rain nor snow" rule has been abandonded :(

So I'll see what happens from this point on, but I have a feeling that I will be buying myself another pair of Oakleys :(

I hope these aren't the kind of Oakley's that you see Blazer guys wearing.....you know the type......mullet, thin mustache, wife-beater ribbed cotton tank top, earing.......

If they are those kind of Oakleys, the USPS did you a favor.

Andy, I know what you're talking about! Just like the ones you wore on the 'Con in July, right?

Don't go giving Fed-ex any credit.

The jackasses said they delivered both of my drive shafts Thursday. I was here all day. No Driveshafts.

They said that there could be a problem with the house numbers.

Sorry, ******** MY house is next to a Gas Station, and a Resturant.

8 inch high house number on the entrance to my porch.

Then it was, umm we don't know, they were delivered. So you will have to have the shipper file a claim.

I got me a UPS rant going right now.....

Overnighted a package from Chicago to the Dayton area on 9/30, paid for overnight by 10:30 AM.

Received a tracking email the next day that said aircraft problem, delivery scheduled for 10/2. Lovely, just freakin' lovely.

So, on 10/2 I called 800-Pick-UPS and was informed that I was entitled to a complete and full refund. My card should be credited within the next 10 business days. Life is good......

2 weeks later...... no credit on my credit card. And that UPS rep had no idea why it hadn't gone through. So, he pushes it again. Again, the 10 day thing.

4 business days later, I get a call from UPS about verifying some info. No problem.......

2 more weeks....... and I still don't see a friggin' credit. As of last Friday, I was informed that the credit went through on 10/27. The card company hasn't seen it yet, and as of now, the online activity still doesn't show the credit.

I've started the dispute process on this one.

damn kejtar, I would've taken you for a blue-blocker man.

LOL.... actually there is something funny to mention about that: While at Moab... we finally got to the Friday (dinner time) and Hagen's wife (can't remember the name...) says something like this: "Wow... I finally for the first time see you without your shades".... now I could have sworn I haven't been wearing them the whole time.... and now Beez who was there almost as long can't seem to remember me wearing them :D

Yea, I hate that! My Smith's have started to do that after only 8 years. Ethan insists that it is from falling out of the XJ at 50MPH, but I dont think so. ;)

You guys must be more careful with your glasses than I. I buy the $10 ones because I usually lose or break them within 3 months.
