dakota leaf spring lift

Now that I have the dakota leaf springs for my lift where on the dakota main leaf do I cut the spring eyes off? How far from the centering pin? My goal is 4.5" , I don't know if I will get it all with the springs but it should be close.

I was told that you line up the centerind pin and cut the springs to match the main leaf on yours

as long as its longer than the leaf below it then all is good. I cut mine about three inches from each eye. I got about 4.5 or 5" outta mine.

did you use the 1/2" overload spring from the bottom of the dakota pack?

yup I used the overload also.
