Daddy's new toy

Needed a newer vehicle to drive across town to work, so I figured I should get something I wanted.
It's a very clean 1998 Mustang Cobra.

Everyone and their mother has a mustang(which i hate) around here, but no one has a cobra (which Are sweet). Lookin good

Thanks guys, it is a blast to drive. I haven't seen many around here either.
Ralph, my daughter is driving the MJ now, I was driving the XJ back and forth to work, had some problems and that is what lead me to getting the Cobra. The XJ is parked for now, I really got fustrated with it.

Farmer, I thought of that too, but I just couldn't pull it out of that sweet ride. BTW, only 43,000 miles and it was under bluebook, ($16,464).

Speaking of Mustangs, I saw a picture of the future (slated for 2005 I think) retro Mustang. It looks very sweet!

BTW, the Broncos are going to lose.

XJBlue, that saleen is nice! That is the new paint option, it changes color like Jeff Gordon ran on his car a few times.

Tom, I believe the retro stang is scheduled for 2004, I really like the looks of it.

BTW, the Broncos own the A$$hat Chiefs.

I photographed that Saleen at the local dealership about a year ago while it was "marked down" to $75 grand. I saw one just like it there again a couple of weeks ago so I stopped by and it was the same car, #60. Somebody bought it, put 500 miles on, then traded it back in for an older Cobra. They were selling it for 20.000 less. Now if only that happens a few more times.....
