Sup everyone. Well need some ideas on what kinda joints yall are running and what all would be needed. Websites and prices would help alot. Im looking at around $250 for the parts but a little more will be alright. One of my buddies from work is gonna get the tubing and build them for me so im really looking on what kinda joints and what all i am gonna need to purchase. Im gonna go with a setup like RE's Longarm kit. 4-link.

Thanks

Matt

RE's is a two link, radius arm style.

You need 4 small rubber bushings for the short upper arms, OEM UCA bushings work fairly well.

You need two large bushings for the axle end of the main arms, and two RE superflex or Currie Johnny Joints for the frame end of the main arm.

Expect to replace all the rubber joints at least once a year if you play in the rocks.

Don't forget 6-8 inches of 1.25" all-thread and one 1.25" tube adaptor per arm.

CRASH

CRASH's list there is right on for the joints and all-thread, but I hope you've put a fair bit of consideration into the arm material. Round tube is good, but if you're really budget minded 2x2 .25 wall square tube works excellently. This is what the Clayton's kit uses, and is actually stronger than similarly dimensioned round tube when it takes an impact from the bottom. If you're stuck on round, you'll want at least .25 wall, and if they're fairly long and you like rocks, probably .375 wall; 2" .120 wall sleeved over 1.75" .250 wall would be nice.

Sounds good, thanks for the info max and crash, my bad on the four link dont know what i was thinking. I think im gonna go with the square tubing, looks stout and fits my taste better ;-). Thanks
