Why do people hate heims so much? If you invest in a quality name brand chromo teflon lined heim, you'll have a much better chance at having a long lasting and maintence free linkage. If you go cheap (china knock offs) you'll obviously have problems. If your worried about weather...get inexpensive heim link jackets. I would much rather have a self cleaning and self lubricating joint compared to a non sealed, grease filled joint. Think about it.

The first thing would be the incredible harshness/noise.Second they dont like the enviroment.SF/JJ way out preform heims in the long run(many miles/least maintenance).
