The Crutchfield sale ends today and I need to pick up a new set of rear speakers. I need some advice since I know very little about car audio. Here is what is on sale. I'm leaning towards the Kickers since this is for the rear. I'll get a nicer set for the front after Christmas.

Kicker KS5250- 69.99
Infinity Reference 5022i- 89.99
Infinity Kappa 52.7i- 59.99
Infinity Kappa 52.9i- 119.99

I had a set of infinitis in my Subaru and they sounded pretty good. I'd prob. buy more Infinitis when I go to redo the system in my truck.

I have the Infinity Reference 5022i's in my XJ and love them. The clarity for a door speaker is awesome. Don't expect a ton of bass for being door speakers, but I can turn it up fairly high and crank up the volume and they hardly distort at all.

Would definitely recommend the Infinity's.

I picked up a set of the Kicker KS5250's the other week at Circuit City, they were on clearance for 40 bucks since they were the display model. They sound really good, definitely worth the money. If you have the extra money though, go for the infinity reference speakers, they've gotten a lot of good reviews.

i have references in my jeep...love them, the only speakers that work are in the liftgate and i can hear them without distortion over the tires and engine.

I'd get the Infinity Kappas.

X2 on the Kappa's. I can't wait to get my alpine type-r components in the Jeep it oughta sound nice! :D
