Coppenger Cove Ride

well guys you can count me out fuel pump went out i ordered it but it wont be here till monday :(

I see you aren't on the list Shrek. I have a spare seat if you want it. Leaving Brentwood at 5:15 tomorrow morning!

Sorry about the inconvienence. If anyone is coming through dickson county i can meet them with the buns. Or if that doesnt work i can send them overnight air!:D

Well the pump came in today but i have to work till 9 so the trip is still up in the air for me!Not all hope is lost. how bad is it to put in does anyone know?

Well, Alldata says it takes 2.5 hrs with a skid... but I did brent's in about an hour and a half. I have no lift or anything special, just my shop, the normal hand tools, and a floor jack. They really aren't too bad.

I need to know ASAP though so I can get buns for the burgers if you cannot bring them.

IMPORTANT!!! READ THIS!!! ALL OF IT!!!

Also, please bring your own chairs if you can. I have 3 tables set up in the shop now, but only 2 of them have chairs. Right now we have seating for 12, but that is not even half of the group. There is quite a bit of room left for seating, I just have no more chairs.

As far as meeting, I will go over it again. So here it is...

Chattanooga group:
If you want to meet me, I will be at the BP that is next to the Baskin Robbins at 8:10-8:15. I will be leaving for Jasper at 8:20 SHARP! Travel speed from East Brainerd To Jasper will be 60-65 MPH, so we should arrive just before 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

For everyone else:
Meet at Exit 155 off of I-24. If you are coming from the Nashville area, there is a BP on the right side of the interstate, from Chattanooga/Atlanta the BP is on the left. Everyone needs to be there by 9:00 AM Eatern Time (8:00 AM Central). I will be pulling out NO LATER than 9:05 ET. There will be one or two other people meeting us at the top of the mountain where we will be parking the trailers. There will be a mandatory Drivers Meeting before we leave the parking lot.

Please pack your own lunch. It is your own responsibility to feed yourself while on the trail. If you don't have a cooler, we can probably take care of that, but bring enough to feed yourself lunch, and bring plenty of liquids to drink. PLEASE NO ALCOHOL ON THE TRAIL SYSTEM!!!

If you have any questions, please call me. Cell: 423-six one nine-4085. Home: 423-two three six-4658. Ask for Tyler if you call the home number.

I think we are covered for the food. Im about to run and grab the condiments for the burgers... Guess I should grab some buns too, just in case. Somebody please grab some more drinks too, because two 2 liters isn't enough for 25-30 people.

Like I said, call me if you have any questions!

Tyler, I am bringing 2 two liters, and a gallon of sweet tea. Larry says he is bringing "Drinks and Cups", that coupled with what we will already have with us on the trail will be enough? Yes or no? I can grab a couple 12 packs of coke if not.

Got the Jeep loaded and ready to go...

See yall in the AM.

~ Stump

what time do you think you guys will be getting back?

my meet the baby party is for dinner time and i wont be back in town till around 8 or 9 i think... i might still come down after i get the kid in bed if you guys are still going to be there...

Might still be hanging out Blake. I will call you when we arrive at RSOR. EDIT: Sounds like we have drinks, so I'll grab buns and condiments.

Cris, come on up. There are several people coming from the Atlanta area. I believe Latney is driving up the Dodge. Im pretty sure he wouldn't mind giving you a ride back to Atlanta... he's a pretty cool cat!

Ladies and Gentlemen; it's almost party time!

I am about to get in bed for the night. I will see everyone in the morning. If you have any issues, please call me and let me know ASAP (phone number is posted above). I should have cell phone reception basically as soon as I leave the house.

Destroyer, you might wanna give Stump or MaxCFM a shout; they're your best bet to get a ride home!

...worst case, i'll offer to give you a ride, if you put the gas in my Jeep (22mpg @ 75mph... ) :)

Junk is ready. I will be riding solo. Dirk and I won't be able to come to dinner so don't plan for us. I think we might keep the Waffle House tradition alive.

See you at 9am eastern.
