Coppenger Cove Ride

Hey Alan, I'm riding with Ed but you can meet us and follow us in if you want. Cottontail's meeting us too. We can all convoy together. Let us know.

Well, good news is that we should have a place to wash our hands by Saturday. I went to Lowes today and spent a few more RSOR funds and bought a new cabinet, water heater, and plumbing supplies to install my sink with. I have been putting it off, and this trip has made me get a lot done to the shop, so thanks goes out to you guys for the extra push to finish some things.

Also, my grandmother offered to cook us up a big ole batch of her awesome Baked Beans, so I will be having those as well.

The list for food as of now is as follows:

Me: Ice, Baked Beans, tomato, onion, lettuce, cheese, the shop :looney:, and some tables and chairs.

Doug: Hamburgers!

Larry (lt99ls1): Drinks and cups

Bob: Propane for the grill, hotdogs with buns.

Jarrad: Bag or 2 of Chips

We still need plates and silverware, probably some more chips, DESSERT :dunce:, probably more drinks, hamburger buns, mustard, mayo, ketchup, and if anybody has an extra table and some more chairs that would be really nice. I only have one and it doesn't seat that many (like 10-12).

Please help us out with this stuff, if everybody brought one thing only, we'd have enough to feed a small Army, and if would keep any one person from having to over do it.

And another updated list of who's attending:
1. PacificEd w/copilot High2by
2. Shaggybob and passenger
3. Doug and his ugly jeep
4. Cottontail
5. MELKORsXJ - dad might be copilot
6. StumpXJ (confirmed) and MAXCFM (if my heep doesn't go....) Hard Struggler riding up too; will be riding with someone.
7. Team Willys (Obviously)

12. David Moore

yeah mark just let me know where and what time.

The Mid TN crew is meeting at exit 110 on I-24 in Manchester.

Departure time 6:30am at the top of the exit ramp.

This will give us time to reach the BP station in Jasper for food, fuel, etc and meet the other group by 9am Eastern.

The heep is not going but the RAM is so there are seats for 3 more for the ride up and back into the Atlanta area please let me know if you need a ride up and back so we can plan accordingly. On the bright side if someone from the ATL crew brakes there Heep I can tow it back :)

Stump we meeting up someplace in GA and rolling up there?

Hard Struggler if you want a ride up there you can park you truck at my place without issue in the driveway.

Also IF you need a parts train up to that neck of the woods or back to ATL the RAM has an 8ft long bed that will be almost empty, also has a goose neck hitch and a "normal" hitch if I need to tow it up or back we can work out fuel costs :)

I'll check with the wife and see what we can bring up to help out with dinner

Latney, I am not entirely sure of the route at this point, but I may just meet at your place since it is in that general direction.

I have one guy that may be with me in a YJ, but I have not heard back from him yet, and if the other XJ guy Nathan comes, he will meet up with us somewhere along 75 probably since he is coming from the Gainesville area.

The Teal Bitch caught on fire last weekend, so I may end up needing that trailer/ram lol... Hope I got it fixed!

We can bring (without a trip to the store - but if we need to bring something else we can manage it)

6' Table (we can bring our own chairs, but that's all we have)
Plastic Utensils (forks, spoons & knives)
Bowls (Styrofoam)
Cups (Plastic)
