no difference. they are both made by the same people, the tread compound is the same, and they have bassically the same tread pattern.

IIRC Cooper owns Mickey tompson tires co.

Yeah, the difference is pretty much just cosmetics...Except the Coopers have one upside: BLEMS!!!

looks like i'll be going this way. i had wanted some BFG MT'S, but goshhh those thing are expensive. then i thought about bighorns, but they look aweful alot like all the muddawgs that the cheap rednecks run around here, so MTZ's it is...on their Classic II wheels.

I have BFG MTs and I really wish I had MTZs. They seem to have a good sidewall. I love the performance of the BFGs but the Butter sidewalls are no good.

Copper/MT has been known for a while for making a very balanced, and consistant tire. I used to run M/H slicks on my race car, but switched to MT. They have an almost perfect rollout between tires. I highly reccomend them.
