Computer Gamers (War/Strategy)

Was trying to find a new game. Civilization III, Warlords III, and Panzer General II are getting old. Looking for a war/strategy computer game that is fun hard but not impossiable. ANy sugestions from the gamers out there of what is new?

recently purchased both these games.. and they are great. Many Many MODS for these games...make it sooo much better.
Kinda like the XJ>. great out of the box... then ya add the mods...ok.. I'll shut up now.

Another vote for CNC Generals, Medal Of Honor, and Battlefield 1942 they play and look great. One drawback is that you need a fairly new computer. If you have an older one, try Red Alert 2

EA games has been putting out some really great game expansion packs too.
