ColoradoFest?

Come October I will have to put in for next years vacation. Seeing how most of those interested in CoFest are content with BV I am going to call myself out next year as well as future years until there is a change in destination. I dont do Indy and BV much any more as I am tired of it, would rather shoot myself in the foot. If you want attendance you need to change things up and have fresh ideas otherwise attendance will end up being counted on one hand...... much like it is now

Here is an analogy.... people gripe and complain about national politics...... laws, taxes are unfair rights are being taken away YET year after year people continue to elect the same kind of jackasses into office that rob them of thier rights, increase taxes and write laws that are unfair/unwanted. My observation is this.... people talk shit and a big game but when it comes to actually doing anything about anything you can hear a pin drop.....

Oh calm your stupid ass down. I said I don't personally see an issue with it being in BV, I did not say I oppose it moving.

I would be very happy to see somebody excited/motivated to take control of COFest and maybe get the attendance up a bit.

So with your comments I can assume you'll be running for the VP slot on the BOD? Or would you rather go on ranting and raving about your political/moral high ground?

The analogy about government is this.

Naxja doesn't pertain to you unless you want it to. Don't want to go to the location for cofest? Great. Bye.

I'm going to ask them to move Easter Jeep Safari, I'm tired of always going to Moab. .!.. :D ..!.

Your comment is expected. Ridicule for my desire of change is expected.

You see Dutch, I would love to help! But if all I get for trying from a non BOD position is being called stupid and told to **** off if I don't like things the way they are! What then is the point of taking a BOD position? You can lead a horse to water but good luck getting him to drink if he don't want to... Sheeple find comfort in the same ole same ole :dunno:

I called you stupid, I didn't say to "f" off, get your facts straight Pelosi. Once again you ignore the simple words in front of your face. I have no problem if you want to change the location, I just want to see somebody who is actually motivated enough to do a really good job setting up COFest and pushing/advertising it next year. BV or some other location doesn't matter much to me, I just have no issue with it staying in BV either. I think the area has a great mix of what CO has to offer the offroading community. Big events typically find a good area and return year after year because it works. Obviously BV has worked well over the years for COFest, but if you (or somebody else) can find another good location with a nice variety of trail types and is willing to put forth the effort to properly organize/orchestrate the event then I say, "go for it"

It would seem you missed and ignored the simple words in front of your face. Post 43 I was called stupid and post 44 told me to F off in a round about way. Not only that my motivation is misunderstood. Sorry for the confusion.

So you can be the planner, organizer, and team builder that pulls this shite off.

EDIT: Someday, I'd like to attend COFest... Anywhere!

I see where you got that, I didn't pick up on it because I don't listen to the ravings of a pre-pubescent Air Force brat. :D

So I'm thinking instead of a jeep club, we should be a fight club. :)

Great idea :gee:

Sometimes friends are made this way ;)
