Well, technically as there is no provision in our Bylaws for a special election (we need to fix that), the BOD can do whatever it wants within' reason.

I did that once when I was President and got a lot of flack but went ahead with it. As long as we leave the nomination up for the normal 2 weeks, I would be fine with it.

Or we could honor the guy who came up with abstain...Woody.

Common sense says that if there is only one candidate, he wins.
