Colorado Chapter "Moab Spring Fling" MAY 23-29

I would love to go back to moab however my birthday is on the 24th and I'll be studying for finals for the week following...

I really want to make this, but I doubt I will. We're planning a 10yr anniversary trip only about 4 weeks later and I should keep that on the top of the priority/get's money first list. Although I may get a bonus or two between now and then which would make it much easier to do.

So, I'm hoping to go but I wouldn't count me in at this point.

EDIT: If I am to go, it would likely only be for later in the week. Probably Thursday at the earliest.

My son is soooo anxious to run Fins and Things, Top of the World, and Hidden Canyon.

What does the schedule of Trails look like? If we do this trip, we could possibly come out Thursday afternoon, arrive Thursday night..Wheel on May 27th, 28th,,,,

Since Memorial Day is May 31st, we could also wheel on the 29th and 30th.

Is there anyone interested in staying in Moab til May 31st? If some of us want to stay til the 31st, it could mean a Moab trip May 27th til May 31st....Your Thoughts?

I am heading out to Moab from Denver the 26th (Thursday evening) and planning on wheeling the 27th-30th and probably leaving the night of the 30th to California after. So I would be happy to either caravan out with some of you or just meet up with everyone.

I hate you guys!!!!! I wanted to make this trip but dont know if it will happen with the wedding in june, and then our honeymoon a week after. need to save cash so i can spend it all on a move to AZ after the honeymoon. Hope to be welcome with the CO folks even if I am living in AZ.

Ok, so Kevin (fireLt.) and I are still looking to do this. We're discussing making this a bit more like a trail "tour" now and possibly starting Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd by running Trough Trail, then heading out for most of the week in Moab, and then either Friday the 27th or Saturday the 28th hitting 21 Road.

Anyone interested in meeting us for the Trough Trail run? Meet up in Moab during the week? Meet up for the 21 Road Run (Grand Junction)?

I heard that slickrock has been going down hill this last winter. might try something new this spring. if not you guys better let me know how the campsite is.

Also. Slickrock was good. Bathrooms left something to be desired for sure. But it's campin so ya can't expect to be really clean lol
