Stumbled across this. Would you pay $49,732.42 for a Limited XJ today?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

My Laredo was $28k in 1990, plug that in the inflation calculator and it comes out over $50,000.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Toyota people apparently don't stay the trail.

Lol...last time I ran into a group of mostly fj cruisers they were pretty clueless bunch of folks on the trail ...then you have the old mini truck guys they come in Two flavors 1 the guys with nicely built toys and then the clowns with a pile if shyt that with more cash into the case of beer and bag of weed they are drinking while failing miserably trying to drive over things you never would think could stop sonething with a functioning transfer case .

But I have see large groups of tards driving Jeeps as well .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

New porch art.......

Reclaimed barn wood, intentional rough construction using old nails and screws, even a rusty old bottle opener attached.

Shari loves you........so much.

I might love her more....... SHE wanted it on the front porch, I expected it to end up on the back patio.

at first I thought he had a streetlight mounted to the front bumper, which added to the soft-top-massive-rack-zombie-green-lawn-edging-flare-"companion"-awesomeness... now its just meh. :gee:

Needs a mailbox mounted to the fender and more cowbell to really bring it home .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Few months back I tossed s roll of hobofreight flux it welder like crap...hey it is hobo wire....then I bought a roll if Forney solid er70s6 .030 because they were out of L56 it welded real funny so I bought two rolls of L56 ...well I ran out of wire so decided to pull out that roll of Forney ...lol...I noticed it had little spots on the wire in so e places these were very small I un spooled until gone I'm not sure if it was rust or mold , but it did weld ok ...lol...still not going to buy it with Lincoln available , because I do not care to guess wire quality from buy to buy , but in a pinch it may be bettet than I thought .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Last time I was in General Air, buying wire for my little Lincoln, I was warned to not use the Harbor Freight wire. The CSR cited an owner who brought in a machine that started welding like crap, but nothing was wrong with the machine. The machine owner used up the roll of Lincoln wire and put the old spool of HF wire in, welded like crap again.

Anyways, my little machine graduated to 10 lb spools. With the company discount, I paid just over $5/lb.

Someday I'll pony up for a bottle. Until then, it is flux wire for me, especially for a hobby grade welder.
