Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

nice use of the accidental harvest... been there, done that. Damn near totaled my '99... but I did end up with a nice Rigid bumper, same price as an OEM to the shop!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I was able to see early enough ( thanks jadfab!) to bleed off most speed. Looks like minor damage.

Step on the gas,
Move your ass.
Close up the gap,
hang-up the app.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ok I have to vent...

6 months after wisdom tooth surgery and I still have jaw pain. After numerous trips to the surgeon and doctor's they 'think' it's a lingering infection or an issue with my jaw socket. You would think they would do more to find a definitive cause. I guess I'll just keep plopping these antibiotics like candy.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I had something similar and it turned out that they didn't get the very tip when they pulled the tooth and the nerve was still there.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

This truck is making it very difficult for me to buy jeep parts and not Tacoma parts.
Droooooooool.

Wife's new mall crawler:

2010 JKU Sport

We had a 2010 Rubicon scoped out (thanks Troy ) but the dealership it was at sold the damn thing yesterday afternoon.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

pretty... flores isn't going to like the hook-em-horns coloring! I appears it would crawl much more than a mall if you were so inclined.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I was on a mission to see the Subaru to 300,000 miles and, once I made it, I was focused on 310. Now I'm almost there. Best vehicle I've ever owned. It just will not quit. I wish it looked better so I could push on to 320. Because of it's looks, I've finally started the search for something newer. I'll look at Xterras over the holiday break and try to decide between the S model and the Pro 4X.

Thought about a truck but I like to keep my waders inside so I can smell em. :wierd:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Probably 2011-2013 ish.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Be sure to ask about the ipdm/ecm for replacement. If through a dealer check on availability for warranty. Nissan has been having hell of a time keeping the computers and control modules operating in their suv/trucks and aren't recalling them for it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What's the deal with this Mike?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

They built in a lot of fuses/relays INTO the ipdm. So if some, say like your fuel pump relay, go out, you'll have to change the entire assy. Only 200 or so depending on vin so not a big deal. What is a big is that the failing ipdm seems to be directly related to the common ecu failure. Those are about a grand a piece depending on vin and need to be flashed.
Older models allowed switching fog light relay with fuel but 10+ years don't have that option. So a lot of Nissan experience no fuel cranks like bad fuel pump but it's really a computer issue. Getting diag (Nissan calls for a long checklist on ecu to tune of about 3 hours- chargeable to you) and then the items replaced is about 2k.
Nissan is avoiding it like plague.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Hadn't heard a thing about that, Mike, interesting. FWIW, my 12 Titan pro4x ran like a champ, not a single issue in 40k miles over 2 years.
