Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Dude -- that 1st photo is wild, never seen that coloring/pattern... some kind of weird subspecies?

I caught 9 brookies in about 20 minutes on the Lake Fork below Turquoise over the 4th... brookies are a good time!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

It wouldn't surprise me based upon where I caught it. I have an email in to a guide friend who is very knowledgable right now. Waiting to here from him.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

found this guy on the interweb... author just calls him a brookie, though:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yeah I don't think it's anything that's gonna get me the Pulitzer.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

My condolences to the Cox families.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So sorry Matt, David and family.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Missed this as I was in the wilds of Wyoming. My condolences and prayers to all. :'(

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'm looking for suggestions for material to make a temporary inner fender for my motorcycle. I made one out of thin sheet aluminum but I'm not happy with it. Thin plastic would be preferable. Anyone know where I can find something to cut down and use?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

That's gold Jim. Gold! I'm going to try a trash can from Office Depot. Thanks buddy.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Southern Kitchen/Hospitality for the win. We went to the Tiny House expo at the Mine museum(interesting, mostly mobile homes with wood siding, and pretty much the Whole Earth Catalog rejuvenated), and then to eat. Good food, Nanc had shrimp and grits which she proclaimed to be as good as any she's had, I had ribs which were very good, but the best part were the cute blond employees, and the sazerac drinks that I had. Might have to move north. :)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yesterday, the garage vomited.

Good time to get that HO engine on a stand, but, wait...

I am not liking the orange stand for this engine.

All better!

The orange stand is better suited for an I-4, H-4, V-6, V-8. I had an I-6 on a borrowed stand that fell over while I was trying to move it. Whenever I see the engine's mass extend past the wheel base of the stand, I get nervous.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

My garage has no gag reflex....... But it does seem to digest things a bit, Sometimes I can't find anything I need in there.

:D

:D
Which is what started the commotion, I could not find something...again. Bad part is, I went and bought a new one, no love: The old one is still lost in the ClusterFrack.
