Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Southern Kitchen/Hospitality for the win. We went to the Tiny House expo at the Mine museum(interesting, mostly mobile homes with wood siding, and pretty much the Whole Earth Catalog rejuvenated), and then to eat. Good food, Nanc had shrimp and grits which she proclaimed to be as good as any she's had, I had ribs which were very good, but the best part were the cute blond employees, and the sazerac drinks that I had. Might have to move north. :)

what and where? I'm from Tenn. and everyone that makes what they call grits this side of the Mississippi I call mortar or paste. and well I like cute blonds too.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Happy birthday, Fred, from one old guy to a really, really old guy :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Thanks!
There's a Southern Hospitality in Lone Tree and in Denver, as well as COS.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

o that's the name of it ok got it.

I'll have to check them out than.

thanks.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

yeah - they were operating down here as Bourbon Bros. for a while, and while the food rocked, the service completely sucked. Changed the name to Southern Hospitality, and the service has been top notch too. The location down here has a bourbon tasting room, all old barrels, something like 50 top shelf bourbons/whiskeys available, lots of them local.

Try the meatloaf or the Maker's Mark Mac & Cheese w Andouie sausage... too good.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I think the one in the Springs would be willing. They have a big old dirt lot. Bass Pro next door, and an indoor shooting range down the street.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Just back form SH-- steak and fries, w mushroom gravy and cheese curds. I feel like I ate a Volkswagen, but happy. Unbelievably, they 86'd meatloaf from the menu. Too bad , it really rocked.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

At SH now....... Meal report to follow.....:D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Started with the fried green tomatoes. Excellent!

Colorado #1 Whiskey flight. Very good.

Wife got the shrimp and grits. Highly recommended!

I did the pressure fried chicken with white gravy mashed potatoes and spiked slaw. Very good!

Finished with banana pudding with Nilla wafers......OMG good!

Going back to try the prime rib dip, and the pulled pork and slaw sandwich........:D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Nillas!!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Anyone know if 4wheelParts sells threaded tube adapters in store or only on line ...need to grab some b4 leaving town tomorrow so I have them for saturday .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Best to call and ask. Anything they stock in Denver or Colorado Springs is fair game, same day or next, anything else has to ship from out of town.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Was browsing Google for hand throttle ideas using home-brew bits and pieces...... this is certainly bargain basement kinda crap...... LOL
