It's not bad. I worked with a fisheries biologist sampling the Rio Grande, and we used a shocker. Lots of belly up fish. Except for the baby northern that skipped across the surface and escaped. Northerns are hard to kill.

I believe that the only species you can snag for (in certain locations) is Kokanee Salmon. I think it should be illegal regardless. If you can't catch a fish fairly then you probably shouldn't be there in the first place.

Apartment just did mandatory account inspections. Aka. Big corporate wanted to be nosy. Annoying it itself.
Get letter saying I am contractually bound to let them In my apt.

Come home this morning. Door unlocked. Windows opened. Blinds opened. 2 go pros missing. Awesome.

Yes, unfortunately every nearly apt. lease stipulates they pretty much have unfettered access to the premises. Got a letter last month for annual smoke detector inspection. Only two detectors in the place, on opposite sides of the bedroom door. Come back after work and every door is open, bathroom, closet (left all of these closed to see where they went). Had note in the kitchen to clear out the water heater closet (outside on the balcony) for a fire code violation. Just had some tools stored in this 10 x 3 closet of which the water heater probably takes up 1/4 of the space. I have never had anything stolen, thankfully. But I take issue with you saying you are coming in to inspect the smoke detectors and then you wander through my whole place.

I have been in apartments since 2004 and cannot wait to get out. Hopefully in under 2 years I will be done with that game forever.

seems like they should be allowed to do inspection on their property ,but not anytime they please with un restricted access think they should have to set up a time when they can be let in by the person who is...paying...to live there , and should never be allowed to enter without the renter present I mean you have Two cameras missing ,which obviously did not walk away , and I bet they don't want to replace them ,which in my opinion they should since they open themselves up to being suspect since they being strangers entered your living space and had access to steal your personal property since you were not present to supervise these strangers in your living space .

If I remember correctly, they do have the right in Colorado to enter the premises but only with 24 hours notice and with the tenant present.

Unfortunately, no.

Colorado is one of the states that unless that is put in the lease, they can "visit" pretty much anytime during normal business hours.

I went through/over this with the CSU Student Legal Services...learned something that day.

So, in essence...if you want 24 hours notice...make SURE it is in the lease.

I don't know if its law but where I live they give 24 hours notice and I believe it states that in the lease. We can be home if we want, but they can enter either way. If my home was not in the right condition, I would let the office know. I would also tell them I'm calling the police for a report of stolen property. Then I would call the police so I could report it to the insurance company.

Cops were called. Report filed. Apt and 3rd party inspector cannot confirm nor deny their presence in my apartment and no one seems to know who would have that info. Funny. So I'll be reporting the 3rd party as well as my apt as suspects for the theft. Not worth the claim as value is less than my deductible. And I'm not paying for something they did. I'll just play squeaky wheel.

and if your snagging fish and not doing it the line and hook way how are you going to drink beer when your doing all that work.

I might only catch a few fish but I always land a few 12oz. cold ones.

Lol I always thought it was funny watching them struggle riding them because they really can handle a bike like no ones business. And yet they were getting tossed quite a bit. :roflmao:
