This one was an ex U.S. Forest Service XJ owned by a Colorado Springs member. The guy went by "HollisM16" and he dropped big bucks on making this one sweet multipurpose rig. Both he and his XJ met untimely, early demises. Hollis rolled that Jeep a few years back and parted it out. Then, shortly after that he found that his cancer had returned and he passed away in a very short time after that.
Was that the first car crush? If memory serves, we did yak it up a little. I have searched my photos from that day, but don't see your pops.He met a few of you at a meet and greet, and Troy bought some rims from him once. I never took him wheeling, but he liked my hobby, and was glad that I took my boys out to share the outdoors.
Thanks, Dad. See you on the other side.
