Re: The Colorado BS thread

So Vegas has been fun. Heading back in morning.
Took my niece to see uncles movie stuff. Blue helicopter is from new Jurassic park movie. The silver one is used in the new terminator movie. The black plane/cockpit is from agents of shield show.

Bahahaha. I take none. You should hear the things I say to her bahahaha. The new show is very awesome though. Aye karumba.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

On the other extreme, one time some friends and I rode our motorcycles to Las Vegas. We decided to come home the southern route (through Arizona and New Mexico) to avoid a snow storm on Vail pass. That 1150 miles took us 21 hours because I had to stop every 100 miles for gas.

My question is... WTH are you wearing Mike? You going all metro to impress the hotties?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Mike is quite the dapper dude... Matt, you can still cut it, I think you're younger than I am and I managed to do Minneapolis to CS nonstop last month in just over 15 hours... just need good tunes and a shitton of iced tea.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'm with you Chris, I love me some road trippin'.

A few years ago (2012) on Thanksgiving night, I drove to Debuque Iowa, and back nonstop. It was 1750 miles and it took me 27 hours. I drank coffee and Mountain Dew the entire way. XM radio was my saving grace.

Mr T, in the words of the genius Prince: 'I don't care where we go, I don't care what we do, all I care pretty baby, is take me with you'.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I didn't do XM, but I did listen to the entire last Harry Potter book (700 pages!) on CD (18 of them) with the boys...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Back in my younger, more carefree, days, I made that 750 mile drive in 9 hours and 45 minutes. That included gas and bathroom stops.

Ya I ran it in 10.5 on way out and 11 on way back.
Haha ya can't hit the strip in oily jeans and a white tee. But rest assured I kept it classy with a pair of chucks.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Hey, I had the old beast up to 87 mph passing some shit head hunters with duallies and BIG trailers at the bottom of Wilkerson pass, according to my GPS. Bored out throttle body for the win. :)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ya i15 in Utah had an 80 mph speed limit. So 100+ seemed reasonable to the car I was following. Titan felt good at those speeds. Averaged 16.8 for the trip out 16.2 on way back.
