Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Need amusement - Got anything resembling a link?

Not sure how to post a link to a specific post thread on Facebook?

Involved the crotch fruit / kids / whatever of whomever runs Peterson Offroad Fabrication and Repair in Loveland (and I'm assuming they work there too).

If you've seen their "work"...it makes Josh's work look pretty decent.

But, since they're 16/17/18 or whatever, I'm supposed to be awe inspired with what they did.

T2GD's work at that age puts them to utter SHAME.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ya that's not fair though. T2gd would make a lot of home builders, regardless of age, look bad.

Ha very true.

I guess just because someone built something at "17 with their own money" I'm supposed to be impressed.

I built a buggy. Do I think I'm special or people should be in awe? Nope.

Do I like it, and does it work? Yep

I prevented myself from going full Pirate4x4 mode on them, since that would definitely get me banned...and most people on there wouldn't have a flying clue about what I was talking about anyhow

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Haha. Well there is definitely a difference between builders and drivers, wheelers and crawlers, and real folks and the fakers of the funk. I know I am not a builder and think I tend to be more than a wheeler but I don't live out everything online.
Other people can build but not drive and like to wheel instead of harder stuff and others like to have a rig that wheels online and thats it.
Trying to get the different groups to mingle together doesn't work very well.

:insertflipoffsmileyhere:

I did get my degree at CSU...which just got ranked in Playboy's top 10 party schools...so maybe I really don't.

Wait...so did you :D

Oh...and when ya wanna come wheelin!?

Publix skool for the winz.

No wheeling for me, at least nothing crazy. I live downtown, and have a single car garage, and I have no space for a Jeep, trailer and tow rig for my white Jeep. And this takes up the space in the garage.

I do have my DD WJ that Im slowly working on, NP 242 will be installed this winter, but I dont think it will hang with your buggy. Then it needs a front bumper, skids, tummy tuck, gas tank tuck, more power, fenders trimmed, more tire, maybe some boatsides......

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'll be slumming down at Fort Carson next week for some dumb class on a computer system we're getting rid of.

Anybody up for an evening run up ER/Saran? Or maybe just get together for some beers?

I'll probably head to CHris' house one night to drink all his PBR, I'm not sure if I'm going to tell him first though. On the one hand he might stock up for me, on the other he might stash it and get the shot gun ready. Hard to say with that guy. :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

no shit, he's totally unpredictable... and I don't own a shotgun. As far as you know. :eyes:

Ugh...reason #1534 why I couldn't live in DT Denver.

Whatcha building there? :D

What happened to the gunmetal XJ of yours? I was thinking something easy like Crystal/Moody.

Let me know when I can crash your place and check it out. I might even be willing to bring some Nilla Wafers over for you to munch on while I drinks your beer.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

If you don't mind sleeping in the yard, barn, greenhouse or on the floor, you're welcome. Our guest quarters are more than a little lacking. As for beers, give me a jingle when your available, and if'n I'm around and not at one of the kids' baseball gigs, we'll definitely grab a cold one.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What days ya down there Dutch? I'll be there for a day or two before heading out to Vegas.

The Colorado BS thread

I don't need a place to sleep, the government is putting me up in a hotel. I will hit you up for a beer.

I'll be there Monday afternoon until Friday afternoon.
