The Colorado BS thread

Lol, not to mention the retarded 2 week gap between the summer program and when school starts even though the summer camp is put on by the school district. Because I love paying for a private sitter.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I was amused (NOT) that in addition to the shit-ton of school supplies that we always have to buy, including a bunch of "consumables" that are for general class uses, not just my kids -- my middleschooler has to buy several of his own text books... WTF? its a frigging public school, and he ain't in college, not to mention my school tax rates are amongst the highest in the state. They can't buy the f'n books? I am again toying with homeschooling, since I spend at least an hour every night de-briefing the boys from the bullshit that gets poured into their little heads daily at school.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I can't imagine having kids for several reasons. But dealing with public schools is one of the issues atop the list. There seems to be a large void between the money that goes in and the money that is available. It's another large business that seems to be screwing everyone. It's scary. I dunno how parents put up with it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

obviously I don't put up with it very well... then again, my wife is a masters-degreed teacher, so I'm not real concerned with our ability to educate our kids without the government's "help". Of course I (and you) still have to pay for them to mis-educate everyone else's kids, so I have that going for me. Which is nice.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Kid-free and couldn't be happier. :spin1:

My wife and I are too selfish to have kids.We want to spend OUR money and OUR time on OUR selves.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

see, I want to go with the Japanese model... I sacrifice a bit now, but later my kids get to spend THEIR time and THEIR money on MY needs :D

You started this rant from all the guys who get a tax break! ;)

In the back of my mind, I was thinking you should go behind that clinic and see how many vehicles have boat hitches.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Finally getting to run Cranage Canyon tomorrow only suck thing is I had so much small crap to do today that I never got to hit the tires up with the groover and grinder to deepen the tired booger inner lugs ,so traction will be Shatty ,but running on shatty meats should make next year that much better as this season is the Boggers last run they are pretty much kicked , and since I've decided to stay 40s and trailered it will be 17s and stickys next year ...Also spent about an hour trying to figure out how to make a 5 pin wireless remote a work easily on my 3 pin winch ...lol...everyone on pirate has an answer none of those remotely worked ,but if you got an older 3 pin winch and buy the older warn wireless ...lol...you simply set the pins like a 3 pin and tap the bacl wire into the orange and the 5 pin is now a 3 pin .
