I've got to take a wicked poo at the moment so I'm hoping this truck unloads quickly so I can get back to the shop to poo in silence and nice air conditioned peace.
WTG Lopez! You run him off before his second post!

I guess that makes you one of the "good ol' boys." :firedevil

Re: The Colorado BS thread

No not yet. Frank doesn't respond to me. Once that happens I'll be part if the club lololz

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Knew this was gonna happen eventually. The 75 acre land behind our house has been purchased and the developer decided today was the day to start with the heavy machinery.

Luckily, it's pretty humid today....... but even with that and the 2 water trucks chasing the earth movers...... we're getting well dusted.

It's pretty noisy but they fly by pretty quickly. The earth movers aren't all that bad....... I'm really not looking forward to the dozers and loaders and they're stupid-annoying back up beepers.

Yay.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Mosquito bites on knuckles and ears are no fun at all.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I don't think the cabin air filters are supposed to look like this... damn varmits.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What is that Chris?

its shredded fiber insulation/backing from under the dash/carpet. I believe a rodent made a home in the HVAC intake at some point, likely between it getting totaled and repaired, when it was sitting on the salvage lot. wicked, I can't believe the fan blew at all to be honest.

That thar, is a Fram Filter ground squirrel nest.

The little buggers don't like to chew up wiring any more?

EDIT: Derp!

What prompted you to take apart the ducting? Was it not cooling down?

Just a routine cabin filter replacement at 20k... All that shit was in the filters.

Holy crap! Did you take any pictures? My weather alert for El Paso county was going berserk about an hour ago.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Saw this stupid-nice restored 1965 Coronet Camper this morning. The level of detail was amazing. Pristine looking stainless. Not that I'd want one........ but I can appreciate the work that went into it.
