Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Found out Monday morning that the low back and groin pain I've been having wasn't an angry pocket midget pinching my left nut.... it is in fact a 12-14mm kidney stone.

Increased pain and piss that looked like diluted Cherry Coke sent me to the ER from work.

Today I find out how the Urologist is gonna deal with it.

Yay. :banghead:

Troy had one of them there stones ,hope your works out better than mine

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Whatever my problems were, I think I just forgot about them.

This. Sorry to hear Troy. Getting old is not for pu55ies.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

No kidding. That little sucker is going to look like this

Good Lord!

I'd drill a hole through that and wear it as a necklace. That way if someone ever challenges your manhood, you could pull down your collar and be like "I PASSED THIS THROUGH MY DICK!!!"

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Keep in mind the size of ken. He's holding up what would be a golf ball compared to the rest of Us. Yikes!!!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

That's a real pisser. :conceited

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I assume that the Docs are going to use Ultrasonics to break it up? Having had stones way more than once, I can recommend that you use your favorite anesthetic to dull the pain. Keep in mind how these things pass out of the body..............

Yah, no. No Fun. Feel for you but, on the other hand.... Glad it is you and not me this go around!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

My first batch I was able to pass "without issue" as the Docs like to say. I can tell you all that it was a damn sure an issue for me.....................

The second time, they dunked me in a tank of water and hit me with the Ultrasonics.

The third batch..... Well, you get the idea.

The Urologist told me that once you get stones, you are most likely to have repeat performances. Swell. He then told me to stop drinking coffee.

Right. Like that is going to happen....

IMO, they really do not have a clue. I can say though, that I only drink coffee at breakfast now (instead of all day long...) and dump about three litres of water through the plumbing every day as well.

Since cutting back on the coffee and adding the water, there have been no more (knock on wood here...) stones.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

everything I've ever read says the key is a shitton of water consumption... I drink a couple gallons a day (in one form or another) :eyes:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I mostly take mine in the form fermented barley...or, as a side effect of chillin' my JZ.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

yeah... the barley is part of the problem, I think. Not that a portion of my liquid intake isn't fermented.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I have a friend of mine's son watch my house and dogs whenever I leave town for extended periods of time (which may be happening next month). He calls the other night and says that his car needs work and would I be interested in trading the labor for him staying at the house and watching things? I think I normally pay him a couple hundred bucks for 2 weeks and he gets to have his own pad. But...since he offered I said sure. I finished up a harmonic balancer install today and new rear brake pads/rotors. Afterwards, I shake his hand and tell him I'll be in touch if my travel plans come together. He says, "Yeah...I'll only charge you half of what you normally pay me." Wait...what? Had Heather go back and check her text conversation with him and he did make the offer of watching the place for free if I did this work on his car. Now I don't even know if I want the little shit in my house at all.

There's a life lesson to be taught here. Don't pass up the opportunity to be creative about it.
