Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Eh I bulked up a little before I left, but now I only get in to the gym every two or three days cuz of work, so just tryig to hold on to it. I was up to about 192, but back to 185ish now. still really trying to get the 200 mark.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'm still reasonably strong , But ...lol...when I was lifting on a weekly basis i'd get that full solid feeling the next day instead of nothing but DOMS. On a side note I workout while on the run for work and I hit the weights in jeans Boots and t-shirt , which seems to be the focus of the AnyTimeFitness crowd as I've had a couple folks crack jokes asking me if I was the cleaning staff...lol...since when does a gym "outfit" lift the weights for you if I roll into town and hit the gym inn Timberland boots ...lol...them are now lifting shoes , and the funny thing is bench more than most of these folks squat...if they even do?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I can wrestle a complete dana 60-1SU in and out of a lifted pickup bed quickly without help, and swing a 4lb BFH like most people swing a carpenters hammer... good enough for me. I'll hit the gym when I stop being able to do that.

Working on the 8lb BFH, though. I still can't control it all that well but it sure as hell gets things done in a hurry. Couldn't find one premade so I had to get a regular 8lb sledge and cut the handle down.

Ya I can't squat much but at least I do. And ass to grass with my knees is accomplishment in itself lol.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I started a new workout routine:

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can.. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags.

Then try 50-lb potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag

Waiting until you're old to start working it you will then have a hell of a time getting it back .

It would be easier to just take a pink bell and use a magic marker to add a zero .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

First day I have driven my own jeep in like 2-3 weeks. Atlas leaks from brand new rear output seal, needs a new front yoke, and an even shorter front driveshaft. But then it still won't turn all the way without rubbing. Need to trim rear fenders, construct front fenders and do some sort of front and rear bumper then it's time to wheel. Then next year once the car is payed off I wanna go to a fuel cell and stretch the rear 8-12" for added bro wheeling power. Oh yeah I still have stock steering on the front. Might wanna do that before I wheel it.

Btw it's leg day and it sucks.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Welcome back. I am stuck in Frozen Hell (Minneapolis) until at least April. It is -15 now with 25 mph wind. It's not that its that cold, but rather that it is constantly cold. We have had 39 days this winter below zero and had more days than I can count that had highs below zero.
