Either the pay is higher than I thought for the chapter VP position or Dutch has robbed a bank. His and hers tattoos, 3 or 4 motorcycles, and that is just in the passed month!

It's good to be da king; I mean VP.

Downfall of not truly being a baller is that you have to buy your toys used, and as such they sometimes need little things like tires.

This is the first time I've ever taken a wheel off of a motorcycle. It was pretty fun. You can also see the taller windscreen that came with the bike freshly installed. As cool as that 5" stubby deal is that came from the factory its absolutely worthless for wind protection. Actually what it does is move the stable air current to the very top of my head, and leaves my face being blasted by turbulence. I'm not a huge fan of the looks of the grandpa windscreen, but it'll make the long trips a lot more pleasant.

I'm gonna tell you what, last October my wife and I did a 3,500 mile trip West from Vegas, up through California/Oregon, and back East through Boise and Salt Lake on a StreetGlide. That front fairing/windshield saved my butt on several occasions. We took two kicked-up rocks in the face going 80mph and thank God that windshield was there - otherwise I wouldn't have kept this gorgeous mug of mine.

On a side note, now that you have a cruiser, you should take a week and do that ride that we did. Probably the single most fun trip we've ever done.

A criminal genius in pico rivera was stopped for dui and when the cops were documenting his tat, there was a crime scene tatooed onhis chest , he has been arrested for murder ,as he was the doer of said crime , never a dull day down here

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I agree about a road trip. The Wife and I made a circuit from here in the Springs, north to Bozeman Mt via the little park up there. We then headed west until the front tire hit salt water. Turned south and spent a bit of time in the SF bay area. Down the coast to the LA basin and turn left. On to Kingman, Az. Then back to the Springs.

Best Month I ever spent.

All on a '78 FLH (the 75th anniversary edition, Black with Gold pin striping) equipped with a "comfort flex" seat. Full bags and tall windscreen. Over the years, I have had three FLs and one FX in addition to the Triumph MCs of my rather misspent youth...

Get on the road.

Why are you still reading this?

Go, already...

Comfort Flex? Only Harley would design a motorcycle seat with adjustments for shocks and spring rate. A left over from the Hard Tail days. Yes, yes, I know, the hard tail "went away" in '58 with the Duo Glide.

I'm leaving Sunday morning with a buddy to go to SLC and back. Purpose? To get me a Double Double with animal style fries from In-n-Out Burger. It'll be close to 1100 miles round trip in 2 days. The longest I've gone do far was just under 400 miles in a day on the KTM. We'll see how much more comfy the big Vulcan is after this trip.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

which one? I'm in the area and was thinking of grabbing one while I'm here too. Lol.
you guys taking 80? The drop into slc is a fun drive as is the little canyon after you get into Utah.

That is a justifiable trip in my opinion. I'd slap my momma for an In-n-Out burger.

Get the "4x4". The first time I had one...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Not sure which In-n-Out we're going to. We are taking I-80 there but taking HWY-40 back for the better ride. The reason we're taking I-80 is so we can get there as quickly as we can and make some miles back home after we eat.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

my bad, thought you said today. I'm heading there as soon as the van is back. Sooooo stoked.
