Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I still dunno. argh.
Trust me. If anyone wants truggy NOT to be green, its me. But nothing else fits.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Nah. Truggy and green go together like PB&J....... it'd be wrong to change it. There's a legacy tied to that rig and that color..... and a lotta rocks in Penrose and BV with that paint rubbed off onto 'em.... :D

The Colorado BS thread

Just extended my enlistment for another 2 years. Now I'm in until 6/26/2015 :(

Re: The Colorado BS thread

you extended it, or it was extended?

The Colorado BS thread

I "voluntarily" extended it. I'll have been in 12years come June 26th so I have absolutely no obligation to stay in or worries about being shoved in the IRR. Unfortunately my Federal Technician Job is a dual status job that requires I stay enlisted in the CO Army National Guard in order to maintain employment. So yes, I volunteered to extend another 2 years. Did I want to? No. Do I want to be unemployed? No. Does my desire to stay employed override my desire to be out of the military? Yes.

On top of that I am over the half way mark so I do intend to stay in until I can retire from the National Guard at 20 years of service. At that point I'll be looking to find another federal job as my age and timing would require I stay in the guard for a total of 30 years to be able to retire from my Federal Tech job and collect immediately. Not only is it very difficult to stay in for 30 years, I just plain don't want to. I'll do my 20, retire, and hope to continue federal employment elsewhere.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

sigh.

The Colorado BS thread

You can sigh all you want, I prefer to drown my sorrows in whiskey.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

That is, of course, implicit in my sigh. My current favorite flavor is the green-label Bullitt rye... yum.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

you're talking about removing paint?
