Do gas burners pull well on 35's ?
Truck did pretty good today up in the hills. Crazy how ya fix the fuel delivery issues and some tranny leaks and it runs like a champ again. Loving the 35's on it.

Ya i mean it does well up in the hills. i rub control arms but should be installing an upgrade to resolve that. I can't say it tows any noticeable difference with the 35's as I've only had it loaded up once since larger tires and it was running on 20psi of fuel. Ultimately its still a half ton so high towing expectations are nill. Once the rig is done and im not dumping money at it this might go away for a diesel alternative. will have to see how it goes once i tow more and how often i tow to determine if that's a necessary investment.
and no troy. the dodge is not getting bigger tires or a lift or anything. in fact the next set of tires is likely to be 33's

I always get a kick out of how tiny large tires look on a full size -- the 37's on the stomper just don't look that big!

I just started using this new product. I recoated my bed with it and am starting fresh on my brothers truck with it. It coats really well. Seems super tough in my bed so far. And isnt too expensive. 3 cans @ $10/can to recoat my bed. And ill use about 5-6 cans to do my brothers entire 8' bed.
Its called Bed Armor by Duplicolor. Does have good texture to it, but not super rough like the Rustoleum textured paint. It isnt soft like the rubberized undercoating. And flexes on plastic without any cracking or flaking so far.
Especially when they lift em sky high to run just a 35 or 37. its too funny...

yep, been using it for years -- I still think Herculiner is tougher over the long term, but then again its a breeze to touch up any marks/dings with the duplicolor. Prep is still the key to making it last...

Ya his bed got a good scrub down/scuffing before applying. If I can get it to last 2years before taking it in to get an actual spray in bed liner ill be happy. $60 vs $600 wins everyday.

I sadly am ditching my flat belly and short arms in favor for rough countrylong arms maybe. Just a temporary thing untill I am in control of my jeep and can put back on the flat belly and run my own made 3 link. I want to just use the arms but my dad dosnt think i am smart enough to make mounts that dont hang down off my current crossmember. ohwell, dumb dad thing i guess.

I agree, but i sketchily extended my shortarms and want to ditch them now, also will help fit 37s just because it will be less of an arc

Plus as low as you are anyway, are you sure you really want a LA kit that mounts BELOW the crossmember? Youll be all over those joints and mounts
Ya. I feel ya. Just think there are better options out there. Or maybe buy the kit and swap tp better joints. I dont think you could go a couple of runs on the kit as it comes without blowing out joints.

Anyone good at painting "camo" patterns with spray paint? .....or think they're good at least?
I'm wanting to paint my xj "urban" camo (black, grey, white) and I am not good with this type of pattern AT ALL in previous attempts on other projects. I know this pattern is random, but it does take some sort of artistic eye or ability to pull it off correctly.
If any interest, I of course, could provide lunch and cold beer

I think Jeff (planefixer) is one of the very few who have good camo skills and has run a similar camo scheme - his was in blues and grays.
