Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Got a buddy to cut up a bike and give me front end.

Drifted for an hour with the same buddy. Rolled it over a few times. Traded him for a nice RC rockcrawler... Sweet that was fun.

Anyone know where one can buy a motor off of a sports bike?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Guessing you saw the bike drift video with CSWS song on there? super cool vid.

What kinda motor and what kinda price range you looking for? Carbed or injected? CC's? need tranny too im guessing? Harness?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Cheap and reliable. Id look for a late 90's carbed honda motor. They were the lightest and most powerful 600's. Plus there were a ton made. If you get into the injected motors the price will skyrocket cuz every stunter or racer is looking for injected motors too. No one cares for carbed so should be relatively cheap.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

How much should one expect to pay for one? and is craigslist where i would find it? or are there good local forums fo that kinda stuff?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

http://www.steelescycle.com/

If you look on craigslist look for wrecked honda cbr F4 NOT F4i (injected)

You can paroose Stuntride.com for people parting out bikes or doing motor swaps.
Stuntlife.com has some stuff but just about everyone has moved over to stuntride.com

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ya a lot of guys have used 250 2 stroke motors and gixxer 600 and gixxer 1000 motors in go carts for a while. They usually have a problem with being able to maintain traction well enough to be able to accelerate faster than a normal shifterkart.
Power is useless if you cant put it to the ground.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Cheap and im guessing a tranny would be usefull. I wanna make a really fast gocarts...
I like the way you think... post videos.

I have an old MJ d35, a d30, a random set of semi rotten stock tires (and maybe my old 33s when I move to 35s), a 2.5 out of a '90 MJ, an AX5, and an NP231 waiting for my "wanna make a really fast gocart" project.

If I actually do it and actually try to go fast in it I will probably die, but it will be worth it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

how much do yall think a 6 month old rough country long arm kit is worth? its only been wheeled probably 3 times, but it has some minor scrapes

Re: The Colorado BS thread

i wasnt really trying to sell it, but some one offered me $300 for it and i thought that was awfully low

Re: The Colorado BS thread

its the arms, x-member, and tcase skid. skid was never installed

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Of all the dumb luck to text a cop. That's funny.

Chris, I like that brochure. It's very kind of the gov't to keep people informed like that. :D

You have no need to worry though, you see we are merely trying to ensure a peaceful and subtle military take over of our gov't. You see, the politicians have failed us (the military) for the last time and we will no longer accept them placing their coffers above the lives of soldiers. They tie our hands and then complain about our inability to eliminate the enemy, well now they've become that enemy. It's time for this country to regain its pride and self worth. If that means we have to instill it through military training and indoctrination then so be it. We will make this country strong again, with or with out the blessing of Washington. Just do me a favor, keep this on the DL. We don't want anybody to get alarmed. :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

oops, I think you just posted your plans for a quiet military coup on a public forum... is that like asking what to do now that you've disposed of a body? :D
