Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

You guys need to cut and paste that stuff over here. I am not a user over there so I can't see what's going on.

But if I had to summarize it would go like this: Josh is an asshat.

basic rundown.

site = cojeeps.net

said individual keeps inviting non jeep owning/driving/building/whathaveyou people onto the site.

example, newest guy to join owns a ranger josh is "building". No jeep, no use of jeep, a ranger.

everyone says hi and asks why a non jeep person is joining a jeep specific site.

josh says dutch and i are resident assholes and our questioning was predictable and that we are idiots

i reply with what a joke his "business" is and how he constantly screws people over and then hides when they are mad.

all posts were edited to look like nothing happened and josh is still the "hero"

Im tire of his "im big no one can mess with me" attitude. We all bicker now and again but he has completely bad mouthed every memeber of any board he is on. Icluding his customers and those helping out.

With ryans jeep he said he didnt care about it to get it the eff out of his shop he was just installing parts not making sure it is the right stuff. Ryan have ya noticed you are missing the support brackets on the sides of your frame for you belly/long arm mount? ya - that effort to get done correctly. as were the too short shocks

Garretts motor. Josh would be pissed that his "POS" was still taking space up in his shop. Garrett did all the work, josh charged him for it. Ran his mouth to garratt about doing it wrong then left him high and dry with a not running jeep that garrett paid him to get swapped in and running..

there is a tj on cojeeps that has an 8.8 swap that howls and vibrates, josh wont fix it, says its pinion angle. Nothing to do with the fact he onlysets backlash on gears and dosent check gear pattern.

oh the guy with the silver xj he lied to to get the 4:1 out of that he had me pull the axle, welded on the perches for xj, filled it with fluid and shipped it. No checking gears or or carrier or anything. fill and go.

now that tcase is screwing david in his rig and josh is a no go for fixing the issue.

he sells sliders as 3/16 but are only .120 wall and everyone wonders why my sliders have a giant arch to them and they have bent up into the rockers smashing them and creasin the floor.

Troy you dont want to know what josh had to say when you offered up the axle for ryan. despite you trying to help ot it was nothing but negative and how hes so big you were intimidated and wouldnt drop it off ut had to have it picked up by someone else.

what a fawkin joke

Re: The Colorado BS thread

That dudes a joke. I had him build an 8.8 for my dad's TJ. I was in a major time crunch and didn't have time to weld on all the brackets, so I had him install those, re-gear to 4.56's, and install an ARB.

Got the axle back to my shop, and the coil brackets were a few degrees off and the track bar bracket was 2" off. Had to do some cutting and re-welding to get everything to work. Finally got it on the road and guess what....gears howl! :thumbdn:

Only reason I had him do the work was a recommendation from a few people...said he was the cats ass! Yeah...he's definitely an ass alright!

Pretty typical of him I guess. He sent me a PM here on NAXJA thanking me for the axle housing and "I'll have one of my shop guys come pick it up - probably Mike".

I donated it.... how does that make me scared to drop it off? I wasn't gonna add to my expense to drop it off.... the agreement with Ryan was he could have it if someone could come get it. I didn't do that to help out Josh, it was to help Ryan.

Clearly Josh didn't want to do any face to face with me.......

Sad and funny at the same time really. Meh.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Hey guys thanks for the tips on the torque converter bolts, that fixed the rattle right up. I'm pretty good at spotting sounds before they get out of hand. I had read around here that some found their bolts only finger tight or worse, mine were still wrench snug but there was still unwanted play in there.

Dropping in a new radiator, I've been searching for a write up on it, but the term is too common. Does not look like there is a sticky in the OEM FAQ. Anyone have a link to a write up here, or a pdf from Chilton's etc?

Thanks.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Wow, SFF forum is empty now?

Typical Josh. When it gets tough he packs up. You'd think by now he'd figure out he needs to try and find out why he keeps losing friends and having to leave clubs.......

Re: The Colorado BS thread

well with the change they made over there i wonder if they got pissed at him or if something else is going on :dunno:

Not to be rude, but if you buy a paper copy, you can take it places you won't get any cell signal.

The radiator is pretty straightforward. Remove the electric fan. Unbolt the shroud for the mechanical fan and let it hang on the fan. Remove the metal plate that runs across the top of the radiator, you'll be able to see everything else that needs to be undone.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Manual is like 20$ at Checker or Autozone and comes in very handy.
