Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

We need to have someone start researching the hard core trails around Montrose. They will be posted as well.

Rather than complain, how about digging in.:gag:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

just seems like a place for 'picturefest2011' ya know....

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Just for everybody's information, the BOD is contemplating an extended hard core type weekend this summer as well, but there are hard core trails within driving distance as well from Ouray.

Don't ask what's wrong with me cause I got no idea

Traded a astovan than I had a grand into for this 75 spider
It's a 75 and came with a dohc, disk brakes all around independent rear suspension and a 5 speed trans...really quite impressed!

Needs love, interior, tune up, new wheels, body work
Picking up new carpet, top interior bits, old school style roll bar(just for looks, won't see a track) and slamming this coming weekend-tearing off ugly bumpers. Will be a cool little canyon bruiser/weekend cruiser

'Guapo..... A couple weeks ago, there were 3-4 of those at Colorado Auto Salvage in the yard - looked like someone hauled off a rusty old collection. If you need parts, make up a list - I may be willing to go run through there again and see if any of it is on those cars.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Troy that's a great gesture I appreciate you offering to do that!
At the moment the parts I'm missing will come from private party, was able to find one solid /cheap resource!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I see you already had time to paint the wheels black ...:eyes:

Thats a real lady killer right there ... How do you say voluptuous in Spanish ?

I was thinking last night worst comes to worst on that paint if the rubbing compound doesn't work , try wet sanding first before scuffing it down and
reapplying a base coat , that silver paint might be fairly thick enough to just
finnish and re clear .

CRAP it's cold outside! I tip my hat to anyone working out there today

But ya.....the previous owner had some crazy idea for what these cars should look like. I MADE time to rattle these wheels to be able to roll it in/out of the garage without cringing too hard... You can take a car to the ghetto, but this cars gonna leave that behind:fuse:

Here is the insiration for my car.
Roll bar period correct, bumperless, clean, classy, the stance, and type of wheels. I will be adding a small black chin spoiler to pursue the idea im trying to create. Should make it's way into the garage manyana i'd say :flame:
