Re: The Colorado BS thread

The drum mag is pretty heavy when fully loaded, but fun as hell. The normal mag is fun too but goes kinda fast lol. Remember the shooting pics I posted from last Saturday? I think it was page 123 or something of the BS thread... anyway, one of us brought a Saiga to play with... top right in the pic:

I'd recommend it... it's reliability depends on what ammo you use though. I shot buck, bird, and slugs out of it, and it shot the bird and buck just fine, but it stovepiped the slugs pretty frequently, like a few per mag. I'd buy it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yes, like that. Seen too many areas left trashed so it's nice to know you guys picked up after yourselves. Good job!!

To many shooters giving the rest of us a bad name. Ever seen the now closed Rampart Range shooting area? Not surprised that it got closed down.

I used to go up there and shoot when I was younger. Thats a bummer that it's closed now... :tear:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Humidity blows.... mosquitos suck... and a 19 hour drive is shitty. But seeing an uncle that I haven't seen in over 8 years is awesome. Worst part is my grandpa passed away Friday evening. At the age of 82. Funeral is this friday. First death in the family for me and being able to remember all the good times is the best part. He was a great man. Ill miss him that is for sure.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Appreciate the here and now Keifer! Soon enough it'll pass.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I know I've said it already and you're probably tired of hearing it from people, but I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa. It's good that you get to spend time with everybody though.

How was the drive? How'd the Jeep do?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Sorry for the loss of your grandfather. Hope you enjoy the time you have with your relatives while you're out there!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I am not tired of hearing it mason. And I didn't drive the jeep out here. We drove our tahoe. I'm having a great time with the family. I haven't seen most of them for about 3 years if not more. This place we are staying in is friggin cool! I will take some photos of it and post them when I get home. Off to some good home cookin at my aunts place!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

sorry about your loss, Kiefer -- enjoy the memories, you're right that they will see you through your grief. :peace:
