Re: The Colorado BS thread

Hey Yella, just out of curiosity... what's the punishment for something like this?
http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/274/1/

Lots of crimes could apply to changing those signs. Kinda depends on lots of things: What's posted on the sign, if you broke into it causing damage, did anyone get hurt because of the sign's message/instructions having been altered, profanity/obscenity being posted on the sign could be considered Disorderly Conduct, Tampering with/Obstructing/Endangering Public Transportation covers things like that, lots of things.

This happens fairly frequently actually. I have pics of one I rolled up on one early morning several years back...... can't post 'em because of the foul language it displays....... but it was scrolling "God fxxxxxx hates you...... you mxxxxx fxxxxxx........ kill yourselves axxxxxxx."

Yeah, a real hoot.

The overhead sign on 285 S just outside 470 got hacked a while back. It just said. 'THINK'

Wow, thats a lot to be hit with for tampering with a sign. Posting up profanity and whatnot is kinda dumb, the zombie thing in the article was pretty funny though... I'd love to see something like that at the Eisenhower tunnel or something lol.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Can I keep my selectables locked and just throw the tcase into 4x4 when needed?

yes, but you'll increase the wear on the hubs -- I ran my old Isuzu pickup with the hubs locked every winter I owned it, since I was routinely taking it in and out of 4wd -- If your front end is locked however, be ready for some crazy handling in the snow in 4!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Actually it doesn't really wear the hubs keeping 'em locked. Now the diff internals on the other hand will be whizzing away instead of stationary.

No big deal really.

But doesn't that happen anyway when you have unit bearings?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Now that we have, or will soon have a new Chapter Pres. What do I have to do to get me some of that schweet NAXJA swag like a sticker or something. Like I _thought_ I was supposed to get when I got my red letters?
