This cold crap is getting old.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

You can still do that. You probably should wear a jacket, and you probably could walk right out to the middle and drop in on the lil' fishies. :)

After you cut a hole through the ice.

OK, but 5600 lbs of metal behind cobra 5.0 torque turning 39s is a bit more abusive than any type of bike can come up with... I'd love to see some closeups of that rig and its systems, really innovative thinking.:yelclap:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

It is pretty cool! I watched a different video, a little over six minutes long. Now that vid is private. :(

If I remember right, he is a heavy equipment mechanic. Front end loaders maybe? I think there was a 4x4 mag write-up on it about 5-8 years ago. Never saw anything more about it. The idea apparently never really caught on either.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Two very different worlds agreed.
I'm just saying that if chains can sustain full throttled accelleration on a 500+hp bike
and thousands of clutch ups ( at a dead stop, rev to 8k rpm and basicLly dump the clutch)
that they aren't that succeptible to blowing apart.

Granted. More weight and torque in this application but also ridiculously less rpm's as well.

Yeah, I imagine these are some seriously HOS chains too -- I'd love to see a build thread on that beast!

Yeah, I dunno who's the bigger asshat...... the corvette owner for not knowing when his tires are/are not breaking loose...... or the camera idiot and his tire-buster bonehead friends who didn't STOP the corvette owner from obliterating his clutch........ Sometimes watching idiots can be painful.....

"Jeff - I hope your footage is well." ......... uh whut?

"Bye bye $600"...... Tires or clutch.... eitherway it was gonna be expensive I guess........ :roflmao:

"Yeah, I think it was your clutch."........ (gasp!) No! Really?!?!? :twak:

Now, this video is pretty special too...... unfortunately, the Ford guys are gonna love it.....

you're right, I loved it, but it has nothing to do with the new color of my engine:shhh: That was pretty wicked, and pretty scary - lucky noone got seriously fubared by those flying-pressure-plate-fragments!!!
