Re: The Colorado BS thread

confused at the relevance(sp?) here???

Choose one:

A) Mentioned his rig a few posts up. Some of you might know him, and would therefore know his rig.

or

B) It's the BS thread! Since when does relevance matter?

Not just no but....... FAWK no. :moon:

Yeah, considering that if I get to go it'd only be for an overnight - I'd rather just bring the Truggy and go bash around on Carnage...... but I'm just not too confident the t-case would be up for it and it's got questionable heims and another 'crawler joint is on the way out.......again. I swear those joints are a 1-run and rebuild item.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I hate when Murphy decides to shaft me. I have been taking it easy on the jeep the past few weeks specifically with the intent of it not having issues for cofest. Last night I got the front end all buttoned up. And I thought just had to pack and go.

Well I come home to find a stream of gear oil from my front diff. No biggie. Easy swap. Well frantic I run to parts store head home and try to push in new seal. Not really paying much attention to it as I'm in a rush. Well. Ends up being the wrong seal. Now it's 10 pm. Front end isn't together. I'm supposed to work tomorrow and head up tomorrow night. Well nno go for me. Looks like imma be delayed to cofest if I make it at all. XXXX me

HD , TRE's man , love them ...[/QUOTE]

Uh, I was talking about Rock Krawler joints:

....not spherical rod ends (aka heims). Ain't no way in hell I'll ever put TRE's on a buggy. Newp, uh uh.

Yeah, Ballistic Fab or something like those joints is what I wanna do for all the joints on the links...... but that's gonna be a $600-$700 investment.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

well had to cross reference number on the old seal to find it, but i did, there was a TON of water in the diff from the other night and i think thats what cause my seal to blow out, but seems to drive fine now, so its all good.

just gotta get off work and load everything up and head up, aye, nothing like last minute
