Colorado B/S Thread

The Colorado BS thread

I'll rent mine to you. Zillow says 1680$ so I'll hook you up and charge 1500$ :)

Mechanic still. Just not diesels and stupid military trucks anymore.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Oh right on. Peyton though. Blah.
Why you doing that. Oilfield needs mechanics.

I dunno if you were joking. But that seems like what I have to be willing to pay to get a noncraphole of a place. And I'm tired of this roommate garbage.

No oil field. It's a job in the springs and I want some land with a shop. To get that up here I'd have to move way out in BFE or be willing to pay 3-400,000.

Peyton/Falcon is closer to Springs then I am to Denver, and an easy distance to the mountains. I'm also finding houses I like in the 175,000 range, that's 25,000 less than I paid for my house.

I live in Peyton. Nice area. If you can keep to the western end (the closer to Falcon the better) you are an equal distance from Falcon and Monument. Carries the added bonus of having Elbert Hwy to get ro Castle Rock/Denver. I rarely touch I25 or 83. Keeps my blood pressure down.

We have 5 fully fenced acres, a small barn, a small shop, and a 2200 sq ft house. Paid $140,000. Prices are going up though, so if you find a good deal jump on it. Housing only continues to climb out here as they build up the town of Falcon.

Good morning by the way. Chronic lurker here chiming in for a change. :)

Ya I don't get why the hell housing is so absurd in weld. Making me crazy.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Cody's probably right... same gig we talked about, Rich? Good luck, fingers crossed for ya!

The Colorado BS thread

Yeah Chris, same gig.

The Willys is gone. I still have a tail gate and that spare block, but almost everything else went to a guy in TX that actually builds and restores old Willy's vehicles. I just got overwhelmed and my ADHD kicked in, I figured this way it would actually get done instead of rot away in my driveway.

If/when I'm able to get some space and a shop I'm going to ease myself into a project like that. I just don't have room for it now, I need the garage to be open for side work so a long term project is tuff. That why I got rid of the YJ and Audi too.

Actually Cody, I'm going to need you to offer free tats to anybody that helps me move if this all goes down. You're cool with that right?

I'll also have Nilla Wafers and Banana Pudding available for everyone to eat, with PBR and Grape Drink as refreshments. :D

Well...officially putting a dent in the pocketbook for parts for a truck that will be used to tow a buggy that isn't even done yet

- New Curt Class V Hitch
- 4" Drop hitch
- Tekonsha P3 brake controller and harness
- 8 5/8" d-rings to make stake pocket holders for the trailer
- Ford AIS Intake
- MBRP 4" Turbo Back exhaust
- PHP Hydra Tuner
- RiffRaff AIH delete, Fuel Crossover, and Oil Crossover

...now just need to order gauges and I'll be set for a while :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Never buying another thing without completely disassembling it first.
And no more long term deals.

Too much. Money tied up in lies and in people who never pay for shit they take.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Golden to G.J. and back, in the Ranger. My ass hurts, from my knees to my shoulders.
