Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I will be passing through Denver on the way to Colorado Springs to meet up with the guys. How many people? I'm going to BBQ for the crowd.

there are 3 of us. We will be departing from camp on rampart range road saturday morning to go to Pikes and Garden of the gods. Not sure what time we'll be hitting old stage, you guys gonna be there all day?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Flex. Take i25 south. Exit lake/circle. Head west. Stay on that road until you are smack dab in front of a hotel. Follow the roundabout to the left. The road will take you around the hotel and golf course. You will come to a stop sign. Go straight.
You will start climbing rapidly as you wind.through neighborhood. It will make a change to dirt road on a right handed up hill uturn.

I will give you mileage to exact spot once we determine if we want to clean shooting area or trail entrance.....

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Thanks Dude, we arrived safely! We'll hopefully see you there!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Any body else had their ass kicked by this nasty cold bug going around? Fawkin' hell..... 5 days of it so far.....

6 boxes of Kleenex, working on my second big bottle of NyQuil ( yet I've only slept maybe 6 hrs in 5 days), 2 days with a 100.5 deg fever, my friggin ribs and gut are so damn sore from all the coughing, worst sore & dry throat ever.

I'm at the stage now where I'm coughing up hunks of goo that I really shouldn't describe.....

WTF.....

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yup! I was damn near worthless from around Sunday till a day or two ago. Still coughing up goopy shit.

I didn't even get out of bed Wednesday. Been feeling better since then.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yeah, I'm going on two weeks, and still not completely recovered.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Colorado kicks ass! Just sayin'......

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Hoping some of Y'all can make it to My little M&G tomorrow.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I swear to god OX-Lockers are the biggest pieces of shite ever. :flamemad::flamemad::flamemad: From now on I'm charging double to install these stupid things. :soapbox:

I'm sure they work fine, but their carrier dimension bring the suck for setting up. I never have to make such drastic adjustments as I do with the OX-Locker. And don't get me started on that stupid cable.

I'm sorry but ARB is the number one selectable locker for a reason. They're also pretty much the only selectable in use on ultra-4 rigs and in we rock.

That being said, I'm going to give the Yukon zip locker a try in the XJ.

Haven't done an Eaton yet, I did an Auburn Ected and it was easy enough to install but didn't last long in the K5.

People complain about the need to buy the compressor for an ARB but then cry about not having a way to air up their tires. Sorry, but ARB is the all time winner IMHO.

I don't remember my friends arb compressor lasting very long airing up even 37's...but my next set of lockers will be ARB as I think they are superior to the Detroits I have now ,but I will not be using that little compressor to air up 40's .

I have the bigger ARB compressor in my YJ and have used it several times to reseat the beads on my 39.5 r20 Iroks with no issues. I have no doubt itll serve just as well on with my 42" Iroks
