Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

BTW, Led, you know that sun roof you just had to open. Something moved and now it won't quite close.
When the seat was all the way back in my 90, I could barely reach the peddles. I don't think Troy, Led, Jeff, or Mike could have reached the peddles. Short people.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Are we talking temper or stature?

:D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

question....
my friend has a 93 S10. 4.3 stroked to 4.9. 5 speed.

he needs help trouble shooting.
this is what he described.
Something in the drive line between the trans and the rear axle is making like a helicopter type noise idk hard to explain the sound.. But I replaced my center drive shaft support all 3 u joints, and its still making the sound. it sounds like it is closer to the trans than the axle.

anyone have any idea what could make a "helicopter" sound between the trans and the rear axle?

Is this a 4wd or 2wd? How many miles?

Sounds to me like it could be the t-case, perhaps the chain/gears being noisy or possibly the chain slapping...... if it's a 4x4.

If 2wd....... ain't much between the trans and rear axle other than the drive shaft and since he's replaced all the u-joints and carrier bearing...... it's either the trans or the diff gears......

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Has anyone locally done the doorless mod to a 97+? I want to do it, but have to show my mom and dad one that has it so they can see how it works, and how it looks.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

ive just heard it is a pain in the a$$ with the 97+ hinges.
if you can get older hinges it will make it a lot easier.( dont know if they fit)
i have the mod done but mine is a 92.....
